Product description

Sours are based on a very simple balance: a sweet part (usually sugar syrup), a more bitter part with lemon or lime juice, and then obviously a spirit which gives character to the mix. The mostly commonly used spirits in this type of preparation are normally rum (Daiquiri), whiskey bourbon, vodka and gin. The name Gin Sour, which obviously harks back to the acidic tang of the lemon, can be misleading because this cocktail in reality has a perfect balance in the mix of the sweetness of the sugar, the bitterness of the lemon and the dry taste of the gin.
